Fresh Thai food served in a casual setting that caters to the "dine-n-dash" mentality of the business professionals located in Rosslyn, VA. Think *Thai food meets Chipolte* and you get Tom Yum District.

Tom Yum District is the first fast casual restaurant serving authentic Thai flavors with a menu featuring customizable, made-to-order rice and noodle bowls.  You pick your base (noodles, rice or salad) and add protien and toppings as you go.  The best part?  It's fresh and full of flavor.  They make their own chili sauces.  That's serious stuff and the result is absolutely delicious.

During my visit to Tom Yum District, I sampled both the drunken noodle sauce and the tom yum sauce (I couldn't help myself, I love spicy food!).  For those spice lovers, definitely go with the drunken noodle, it's packed with flavor and has a good kick.  If you like more a sweet and spicy combo, the Tom Yum sauce is fantastic with a nice, sweet finish.  Both excellent.

My noodle bowl was full with Lemongrass-Turmeric chicken, pad thai noodles, egg, cucumber relish, mixed herbs, bean sprouts and their housemade sriracha.  Lots of great fresh ingredients and a generous portion size, it was definitely YUM.

So the next time you are looking for a quick, fresh and Thai-inspired lunch or dinner, head over to Tom Yum District, and be sure to try their housemade sriracha!
