Thinking of Drinking: Tuscan Orange

I've been dreaming of being swept away to Tuscany to sip on wines and cocktails.  Hopefully some day it will happen, but until then, I can sip on these Tuscan Orange cocktails and imagine being in Italy.  The orange color could also work for a Halloween party.  Enjoy!

1 shot Ventura Orangecello
1 shot 360 orange vodka
Juice of ½ lemon
1 shot of rosemary simple syrup
Ice
Rimming: 1 teaspoon finely chopped fresh rosemary, orange zest and 1 teaspoon sugar
Garnish: rosemary sprig

Fill a shaker with ice and add Ventura Orangecello, vodka, lemon juice, and rosemary simple syrup. Shake it. Put the rimming ingredients onto a plate. Rub a piece of orange on the rim of a martini glass and dip the mouth of the glass into the rimming ingredients. Strain liquor into the glass and garnish with rosemary sprig.

Combine water and sugar in a small saucepan and bring to a simmer over medium heat. Stir until sugar dissolves and then remove from heat. Add rosemary and cool. Store in a clear glass bottle or jar with a tight fitting lid in the refrigerator.
